Gemini TV Launches Biggest South Indian Music Reality Show

With title sponsor as Amul, Sangeeta Mahayuddham is produced by Saibaba Telefilms.

Andhra Pradesh’s leading channel Gemini TV has launched South India’s biggest music reality show, ‘Sangeeta Mahayuddham’ which is produced by Saibaba Telefilms Pvt Ltd. Saibaba Telefilms has brought six well known music directors & singers – Raghu Kunche, Hemachandra, Venugopal, Geetha Madhuri, Malavika, Nihal- as Captains on the same platform for the first time in the history of reality television in the South to challenge each other’s supremacy, each with a team of young talent.

Starting June 26, 2010, the show will be telecast on Gemini TV, every Saturday & Sunday from 9.30 to 10.30 pm. Amul is the title sponsor of the show.

Hosted by the talented & popular anchor and actress Udaya Bhanu, Sangeeta Mahayuddham aims to bring a new format in music reality shows in India, which is based on Teams rather than individuals. Viewers will follow the journey of Sangeeta Mahayuddham, right from the city auditions to the Grand Finale. Highlighting each team’s unique personalities and exceptional talents, ‘Sangeeta Mahayuddham’ is an exhilarating breath of fresh air in the increasingly “seen-it-all-before” realm of reality TV.

Eighteen finalists selected from the Mega Auditions at Hyderabad will be part of the six teams led by these six prominent Captains and are all set to infuse the reality television landscape in the South with Sangeeta Mahayuddham’s uniquely exciting format.
