Telugu television channel TV5 announced, on Thursday, the launch of TV5MoneyLive, an interactive Web-casting platform streaming business content, and hinted that they are considering the option of a business channel.
The interactive Web-cast platform showcases stock market developments, personal finance and business content for two hours initially and will gradually become a 24x7 feature.
The Chairman and Managing Director of Karvy Group, Mr C. Parthasarathy, and Mr M. Yugandhar, Managing Director of Karvy Compushare, inaugurated the portal at the TV5 Studio here.
Mr B. Ravindranath, Managing Director of Shreya Broadcasting, said, “with the Internet penetration growing exponentially and yet to be introduced Broadband Wireless Access system expected to revolutionise the Internet viewing patterns, we are expecting TV5MoneyLive to catch up with the domestic and overseas audiences.”
