There is growing suspicion that the TV media is manipulating the news. There are allegations that the many of the TV channels take money to telecast news.
Yesterday, ABN TV channel telecast a story that NTV Bhakti channel contacted Swamy Swaroopananda of Sharada Pitam, Visakhapatnam, and demanded a crore of rupees to telecast his teachings. When the Swamy declined the offer, NTV channel started telecasting some so-called ugly truths about him, which were countered by ABN TV channel.
The telecasts were so meaningless, the question of electronic media telecasts and their credibility are now in serious doubt.
