Telugu television is all set to get more colourful and offer more choices for viewers soon. Four more channels covering different segments are in the offing with Aadri Television gearing up to unveil its beaming in coming three months.
The bouquet of four channels being worked out at present are entertainment, health, movies & music apart from enrich-spiritual. Having set up a team of more than 100 professionals, including several fresh talent, the plans are to be able to roll out by March-end, says Rubina Praveen, Director & CEO.
These channels are also being positioned as country's first end-to-end HD channels and the entire production at present is being handled in-house. “Content is going to be our strength and we have been doing the ground work for almost two years,” says Rubina, who has a track of documentary filmmaking apart from stints with ETV-2 and Vanitha TV.
A thorough mix will be on offer for viewers by all the channels and some ambitious projects are also taking shape. “We are coming out with Aadri Mini Blockbusters which will have one-hour movies specially produced by us,” reveals R. Anil Kumar, Chief Programming Officer. Games, realty shows and other entertainment offering content apart, there are appropriate segmentations for these channels, he adds.
Soon after these four get going, the plans are to go for more regional channels covering different parts of the country.
