Vivek is the son of former Union minister G Venkatsamy and he happens to be the fifth richest MP with an asset value of Rs 72 crores (officially), as per sources. Now, the news is that he has opened the office for a TV channel and is projecting it to be the first one owned by a Dalit.
Those who heard this say this may not go well with the likes of Mayawati, the CM of Uttar Pradesh. The MP reportedly said that the channel will be like any other professional one but then it will focus on the problems and challenges faced by the weaker sections along with the coverage of atrocities committed against the Dalits.
