South Indian Super Star Rajinikanth, Former Miss World Aishwarya Rai starrer science fiction ‘Robot’ directed by S Shankar is going to be telecasted in Gemini TV on January 15 on the occasion of Sankranthi.
We had been seeing Hindi films being telecasted within 100 days of release in the recent time. Now the trend is spreading to Tollywood and Kollywood.
‘Robot’ was released in Hindi, Telugu and Hindi simultaneously on October 1. It will be touching the 100-day mark on January 8. And, in just a week after it completes the 100-day run, the film is going to be telecasted on small screen.
One main reason behind telecasting the movie so soon is that the TRP ratings of the TV Channel will be more on that day and can reap larger benefits in terms of ad revenues.
