Zee Telugu launches reality show on city jungle theme

BANGALORE: Zee’s first south Indian channel, Zee Telugu, launched ‘Kondaveeti Raja Kotalo Rani’ (King of the Jungle, Queen of the City), a reality show starting yesterday on the 9 pm slot. The one and a half hour show will be aired thrice a week, Monday-Wednesday. Six to seven episodes of the show have been shot. The show’s theme is whether the city beauty (girl) will be successful in transforming the king of the jungle (boy) to a sophisticated gentleman. The concept focuses on bringing two different lifestyles on to one platform. The show showcases 10 jungle boys and 10 City Girls performing the given tasks. The result would be on the basis of survival of the fittest or rather adaptability - and involves elimination in every 6th episode.
The male participants are from remote zones of Visakhapatnam (Paderu, Seleru & Chintapalli) Adilabad (Asifabad & Indravelli), Khammam (Chintur & Koonavaram) and Srisailam Forests.
Zee Telugu Business Head G. Anuradha said, “Getting access to basic gadgets that a normal city person uses in his daily life would be a never before experience to all our Kings of the Jungle.
