Coca-Cola India's Thums Up brand, in partnership with Telugu general entertainment channel Maa TV, will be launching 'Thums Up Thunder Star', south India's first stunt-based reality show.
To go on air from June 10, 2011 at 9 pm, the show will see 15 contestants fighting for the title. "This is just the beginning. We will continue to broadcast more such programmes, going forward," J Shekar, chief operating officer of Maa TV, told mediapersons here on Thursday.
Launched by Tollywood actor and Thums Up brand ambassador Mahesh Babu, the show has been shot across various locations in Andhra Pradesh. The level of stunts and tasks will be extreme and intense than ever before, making this a deadly combination of drama and action on the small screen, Shekar added. "The Thums Up Thunder Star, who will emancipate the values of the brand, will get an exclusive opportunity to feature in the next Thums Up communication," said Hindustan Coca-Cola senior vice-president (operations), Deepak Kaul.
