After a long time, a new English daily is going to hit the stands in Hyderabad, most probably next month.
The daily, which has been given the title -- ‘’The Hans India” -- is being brought out by Hyderabad Media House, which is presently running HMTV Telugu television channel. It will initially have four editions – Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Tirupati.
The exciting part of the new daily is that the editor of the daily is going to be veteran journalist P N V Nair, who had brought name and fame to Deccan Chronicle in 80’s and 90’s, with his innovative ideas.
HMTV chief executive officer K Ramachandra Murty continues to be the CEO of the daily as well.
Except the weird title, the English daily hopes to make it big in the media market. All the best, Mr Murthy!
